Prof. Annika Herr and Prof. Arndt Reichert participated in September in the 2024 Annual Conference of the German Economic Association in Berlin. They disseminated novel findings on the effects of a single-room policy for nursing homes implemented in several German federal states on the care market, receiving valuable feedback from the academic community.
Keynote highlights included: a) David Card (UC Berkeley, 2021 Nobel Prize) on wage differences and their causes. b) Christian Dustmann (UCL) on the economic impact of immigration. c) Jessica Pan (NUS Singapore) on gender inequality in the labor market.
